Sorry to interrupt your postings.....
I think you need to redesign the glove boxes you made. These are not safe.
If you look at the originals, they have been fashioned from one piece cardboard/hardboard type material. If you place the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle side by side you can picture it as being in one piece. Then imagine you draw lines along where the cuts are.
Now comes the hard part. You would have to make bends at the appropriate lines. Now how to bend??? Depending on the type of material used.....maybe a shallow cut may suffice. Or a shallow wedge cut carefully by a craft knife.
Just my thoughts.....
Beetles also have this type of glovebox. We are not so lucky as its a one piece molded design with round bends....
