Restoration story of my Spitfire convertible

It has become a very long thread....just because the interest of you brothers...
I have not taken any recent pics of boot and engine bay...will do so and post in near future...

In the show....25 KMs from my house...not a very suitable venue for most of the people....quite far and out of the city...

The cars of our honorable guests from Karachi were first in the cue...then Cars from Lahore and then the cars of our Islamabad/Rawalpindi members...

I ordered a boot rack from UK which reached well in time....but unfortunately lost the fitting brackets....after a good amount of search,could not find them ...so gave up.....will have to fabricate new brackets...

Rear end....
I would liketo remind you here that there was no boot lid on this car and we fabricated one...as you can see from the previous pics in this thread.....
So no boot,no molding and no lock etc...
I searched this molding in UK myself a lot and after a good search...found one in BURY....a small town 30/40 KMs from Manchester Uk..
And this lock was located and bought from E.Bay...Both things (along with a lot others) I carried myself from UK...

Interior.....
Some details are missing due to lack of time...like dash strengthening stand ,which comes right under the middle panel of the fascia...fixing dash board with the chassis...
Black bases of the window winding handles are missing...
notice three holes on the top side of the door....poppers are fixed here for the tonneau cover...missing...
Knee pads...missing...etc etc....
all the thing are with me and will be fixed now...
A central console/armrest will be fabricated as well..

BTW I made these seats myself.....from scratch on original design...how???...I will tell you....:).
