I did that conversion and car ran good but fuel consumption increased and then the mis fire problem also arised on deceleration, so removed that CDI and installed points one back as I can always install and adjust ignition points with minimal effort so it's not a problem for me.
I do have all the CDI stuff with me and if any one wants to get it and sort it out and install it i will give it for free.
