bhai yeh dentr apko mamu banaraha hai if he has not scrapped the body and applied red oxide. redoxide is applied once the whole paint is scrapped and bare metal is visible. the red oxide is applied to avoid rust.

make sure the metal was scrapped.

check the areas around the windscreen corners. he has applied putty instead of repairing the rusty metal.

he has not removed the fender mirrors, indicators and the front grill. hows is he gonna scrap the car when accessories are still intact.

secure both number plates, resolve the matter politely witht the dentar to scrap first and then apply red oxide.

dont give him any bigger amount till he completes 25-50 % of the works.

DIY Car repaint

Hello PW , this thread will be related to DIY paint job ,,,,,,,,, my se sallon 2005 need a paint job since long , its in my home use for last 1.5 year ,,,,,,,, it has been poorly repainted before and need a complete body work once again ,,,,,,, since day one i have been thinking to hire some painter for this job,,,,, so now i plan to do it myself , encouraged by a friend and i thought ok lets take it head on ,,,,,,,,,, as always comments suggestion are most welcome ,,,,,,,

50% is too much.

any ways, play safe, play smartly. still if u feel u have left things with the dentar, get them out and secure them at home so at point u have to take the car out from mechanic possession, u will not loose parts and bits.

Nippon and IsI are nice.
You need 2K paint.
Apply clear coat after the paint.

what sort of changing is required with wider tires to looks a car low profile?

Keep the profile within the limit of fenders. Anything wider then that and you need to modify the fenders, which doesn't look good!

yes i do have 80 175 13 i think so just want to give low look with wider tires and deep dish what is max size that i can achieve without alteration ?

You need positive off set wheel.
If you look classic old school jdm 13-14 alloy rims they came with positive offset.
Go for 14 rim with 6-6.5 jj and positive offset with tyre size 175/65R14. Then drop the car down a bit.
They are smaller then you current wheels, because 175/80R13 size is pretty big for these cars.
Look for watanabes original ones.

I am very disappointed by the people whom are working as an mechanic deneter and painter,
I have purchased my car in 75K i have paid 10k to deneter he ran away I lost my 10k ... After that i have invested 25k after that car was in a running condition with 10 km/L with a stock engine..again decided to go for full scrap and bhatti paint again give the car to another denter in 70K this time i partially paid 40k from 70K but he is still not working now i am hope less and help less ... Gari kitny main katy gi ya sale hogi please suggest below you will find the current situation of a car planning to sale or through away after cutting into 2 pieces almost wasted 150K for nothing:(

Very sad to hear your story. this is what we had alarmed you about the denters when u started the project. anyways, it is still not late. the idea of getting the car sold in two pieces i would not recommend.

first of all, gather all parts from dentar and take ur car to home so that u wont get into more loss. find some source like police or rangers to take out money from that idiot dentar once u have taken the car.

i remember @mustansir44 has done a job near to your location as @brownrose78 mentioned in earlier post. get in touch with that dentar and get it done.

cars are expensive now a days and selling it in this condition will give u more loss.

Yes you are right, cars are expensive neither I have words to explain my feelings !!! Hope fully I will find a way

I will also recommend what Bhai @nnabeel recommended:

1. Take your car back from him "as it is" by reminding him that he has not fulfilled his commitment & wasted precious time.

2. Tell him to refund your money the whole or part of it(if you think or see that he has done some work)

3. Send this car in this condition to the denter & painter where @mustansir44 sent

4. This beauty is precious, do no sell it; go for restoration; don't loose hope. There are of course bad people, black sheeps in the market but not 5 fingers are alike.
   I also faced such issues multiple times.

5. How your denter ran away? Was not he was employed at some shop? Do you have his contact number? Complain it to Police and Law enforcement agencies for that fraud.

Car is not that bad, can recommend someone who can finish the job, but this will cost you another 70-80K and around 2 weeks for a finished product. Work is guaranteed, but you will have to drop by from time to time to check, being the owner of the car.
