Body work i.e. dent and paint only cost me 45 K. Paint used DuPont (Color code 041), painted in paint booth.

I may share the cost of things like seat repairing, door cards etc. The other stuff for interior like plastic moldings, dashboard I go them against a moun maangay daam.

whatever you do,, never buy used parts when it comes to braking components

if parts are in good condition using them he not a big problem my mazda 929 had a custom made hydraulic breaking system (civic's booster lancer's T and what not :D) worked fine still with my czx working like champ count less mehran are running on the used/kabli booster even my civic 88 is running or civic 05 breaking system never had a problem

well i kinda had bad experience... used parts are a gamble always... spent more money switching out used parts then on the new part

That is true for quite many parts on the car. However, at times, the brand new parts available are of much lower quality than the kabuli/used parts and that is when its better to employ used, good condition parts. I myself am in favour of spending once on quality parts instead of spending again and again on a lower quality part.

Brother the update is that Car is at my home by now. Paint is being done, every other task in my last has been done, wiring stuff, air conditioning. Only the interior work is remaining, seats, cards and other material are ready at cushion makers end. Unfortunately, due to some emergency at his end, work is delayed till this Thursday. In sha Allah after this Thursday I will be posting further details alongwith the pictures.

Last preparations before the final paint:

Lets keep things moving... I have few snaps left which I captured on the day of paint.

Below pics are the ones which I captured just before the final paint. It was bright sunny day with no sign of clouds Finally the day come I have been waiting for. It was nervous times for me as I did not want any mishap during the final stages. Thanks to almighty everything went smooth, no glitch, no mishap.

Little bit covering like tyres, steering and then the paint process.

Nervous time was at peak at this time. I myself was in the booth for about half hour just before the spray. It was never easy to stay inside, pouring down the sweat. Hats off to them who work for us under these extreme conditions.

Paint was started at 3 pm and it was out of booth after all the formalities at 6 pm. Following are few screenshot in the evening light.

Sorry for the low quality images, please bear them for now. This was the reason I didn't want to upload them. Anyhow I will be uploading better quality images after this Thursday.

After this stage, the electric related stuff was completed, dashboard fitting etc. Air-conditioning done, installed a much newer compressor usually come these days with Vitz / Duet. So far I have observed much better cooling as compared to my previous setup with Cuore compressor. Very less compressor load on engine, I must say. I was really surprised with the outcome. With Cuore compressor, on load the RPM went down by a margin, heating issues. With this new compressor, there was no need to work on the RPM stability since there was very less load and no heating issues so far. Happy engine and happy owner.

Denter has asked me to come in the very end when all the things done to have final polish.

How this rust converter works, from where u bought it.

I normally used wd40 or diesel on rusty areas

Do some sanding at the affected area to remove major rust, clean that area and apply the liquid using cotton may be. Leave it for 10 - 20 minutes. I directly applied the liquid I mean the original liquid is pure / concentrated and you can add water to it, I think 1 : 4 do not remember it properly, the supplier told me.

One I bought was 1 litre packing from Tariq road Karachi - KK Traders - Contact-us | KKTraders Pakistan.

Good results I got.

1) I want to modify my meter by glowing lights and needle (where can i find it)
2) Gear lever boot (where can i buy that??)

There are few shops at Plaza and I personally saw few sample meters there, they looked good, not sure about the quality of work.

You can ask for boot on the following numbers,
