Thats still pretty reasonable. The braking definitely improves a lot with them. I've got slightly bigger gtti ones but my servo seems to be weak, I feel a lack of braking power. Hoping that replacing the servo would make them perform the way they should.

before replacing servo, replace the master cylinder / wheel cylinder with new parts

my current car (first petrol charade in family :D)

pmd u about gear box... its the original one of the diesel turbo...

my car had the diesel engine swapped to petrol / cng

Just for information, these days Charade stock engines are available in SherShah ranging upto 45K (in exchange). I personally saw few and they are just in outclass condition.

price of charade part have gone down in shershah i remember the cb 23 (g11 charade petrol engine) use to cost 50k for head and engine block only (mechanics call them assembly) BTW r u sure it was daihatsu cb23 becoz there use to a cb23 clone they use to have KIA logo on them with LPG kit install from factory use to be pretty cheap

well the engine had done over 250,000 km... it was pretty much about to be dead... and little costs again and again... i wanted to put in a vitz engine... but doing the work properly would have take the car value much above 3 lacs.. for which it would never have sold.. and i also did not have time...

it was a used engine from sher shah... so probably done more than that... though i did read on the net that this was the normal life of the cb23 engine.. it had only a head job once due to timing belt breaking....

but then again i was still learning about car maintenance then... the engine used to run cold all the time.. which i learned from zulfiqar bhai would probably be the cause of early engine failure.. no thermostat valve, direct fan

the main problem with the engine was a worn out crank bearing.. the engine went thak thak thak in the morning before the oil pressure built up...then went ok.. but with plenty of smoke too..

i have a civic 96, 170000 km + done and still going strong.. engine still in factory condition

Not exactly. It depends upon the condition whether parts related body or engine. The dashboard, I was getting from 3K upto 22K. I saw engines from 15K upto 45K. They were all stock with all the accessories, a good engine even had the silencer aluminum cover with all the vacuum system things. Sabir bhai is there you can visit him.

Genuine / kabli body parts are becoming rare now.

Some parts need to be replaced with used parts because of the low quality of the brand new parts. I sourced a brand new master cylinder but didnt end up buying it because of the low quality. Three different master cylinders have been replaced just for my satisfaction with the same results. The brakepads with shims are of course brand new parts. The brakes themselves work perfectly once they start working and the grip is perfect aswell. The only issue that I'm facing is that the pedal travels a couple of cm before the brakes start working. I've searched around and the symptoms point towards a weak servo. I just need to now get the servo replaced and see if that helps because thats the only thing that has not been replaced.

Mine's a G101 and I already have cross drilled rotors. I was asking for a friend who has a G11.

do share info about ur brakes rotor they seems more accurate than normal one, as owais bro said about brakes am also facing this problem now a days i have to press the paddle a bit more than it works and my mech is alos blaming the servo.
Btw i"ll suggest you to buy genuine door cards here in rawalpindi they are available and use plastic sheet between door and door cards mean stick plastic sheet on doors than fix the card it will ensure their long time and protects them from rain water or during wash time, completing charades interior is pretty tough job, regarding the speedometer i will suggest you to swap the meter with newer and latest one for accuracy suzuki liana's meter can b installed in g11 with a vss (vehicle speed sensor) on gear box, mira's meter can also b installed, repair a g11's meter is not a vice desicion i had gone through this and was nearly fried my engine because of stupid temp gauge, buy a set of bigger door handles of door cards they look decent completely sound proof the interior using jumbolon under the carpet trunk in the doors and behind the dash it will made a big difference
i had done all this in my charade except the meter change which will be done on weekend

I looked everywhere, those hub caps are not available now. The new ones production stopped now and the used ones are also not available during my hunt. Not sure if of Coure can be fit as they might be smaller.

I asked the same on some foreign fb page and one has already replied, hopefully deal would be finalized.

i will also check if I see them again .................I think coure k bhe lag saktey hain....

Dear you car is very nice and clean. You own a good version too I think CX hai.

The interior stuff is ready by now, the seats and the door cards, currently resting at cushion makes shop. Regarding original ones I did try to search a lot here in Karachi but every time I got them in a very bad condition. And I will be using plastic sheets in between doors and the cards for sure.

Regarding speedometer I actually got a very good conditioned dashboard. Its speedometer is in prime condition very less used.

I have got the door handles the foam ones.

Yup, I have the complete kit for the jumbolon.

Rust Converter treatment:

After the under body coat, focused shifted towards the engine room and the cabin. By this time, complete car structure had already been washed (during the process of under body coat). On the very next day we sanded all the rusty areas and apply rust converter.

The black or grey areas in below snaps where we applied the converter. Rust disappeared.

We left it to dry overnight and color the cabin and engine room (only affected areas) on the next day. I must say that converter really did its job nicely. It was not harsh to metal like a normal acid. Happy feelings in the end.

Cabin and Engine room paint:

This area below usually ignored by the denters as I personally observed. He made lot of excuses like there is no space to work on or this area is kept hidden but I kept reply how he can do his job in this area. That air flow conduct for ac was badly affected by the rust. Repaired with fresh metal piece, rust treated and color applied.
