AoA!! I own a Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 Cruisetronic.Reverse beep and seat belt beep stopped working all of a sudden. I can still see the seat belt sign blinking in the cluster but no sound. Can anyone share the possible reason and its solution? Thanks in advance.
Check grip under ur seat...its.probably disconnected
I've already checked the grip, it's connected. Today the seat belt beep worked for a few seconds and now it is not working again.
Some wire is broken then
Before doing anything to the wire check the fuse...
I guess fuse will either work or not work. It's not possible that fuse issue can cause intermittent working
This is a generic problem. I have found it in all aging Toyotas. Haven't found a fix yet.
Yes, I'm unable to find the root cause. Will visit 3S in a few days.
Yes, and please tell share if you get a fix.
Maybe the circuits/grips need cleaning.
Sure brother InShaAllah
Wah what a blessing
Haahaa, i know the corolla's seat belt beep is very annoying. But knowing that there's a problem in my car is really bothering me.
New ones are creepier, They get louder and louder
Did anyone find the root cause, i am having the same problem the volume of the beep is getting low..
its actually issue with buzzer, u can try open the cluster and clean its wiring harness grips with contact cleaner, maybe it will fix the issue,
Asalamoalikum; Guys I am facing the similar issue with my car as well ....... though it's an old topic but share your experience of repairing if possible.
