110km/hr at 2800rpm that's a little too much for a 6speed transmission. maybe later on it will improve.

Thanks bro for following the thread. Fuel economy cannot be fixed as per your formula when 2 filling stations with established credibility, fueling the car just right and then having the overall aggregate "corrupted" by a 3rd already discredited filling station of the PSO, if you checked another member's post on the same PSO pump above.

I'd deduce we either discredit that re-fill and calculate the aggregate on basis of the other 2 rides/ filling stations, or, include trip 2 fueling yet reduce the fueling quantity from 6.11 ltrs to say 4.5 ltrs (calculative compromise, still above the other 2 figures yet less than 6.11 to get a more reliable result).

Yes the RPM figures are same in 1.6 VTI pros too but what about fuel consumption? Mine hardly does 9km/l

The anomaly at PSO station has cast a doubt, which in my opinion needs clarification:S. may be you need to recheck performance at higher speeds (120-150) again sometime. This way we will have the pleasure of your narration again.

I had a similar experience with G-9 PSO 6 months ago and never went there again

I have a question? I really don't know much abt it. Once the petrol is being filled there comes a stage where pumping stops automatically.

• Does it stop at the same level everytime? As sometimes mileage is destroyed by the fact that some station guys stop filling at that level and some put Rs 200-300 more afterwards.

1. Good job.
2. Pl bifurcate first post into many posts and paste link of these in first post. Otherwise one has to scroll for too long on every page to reach the first unread post.
3. By the photos, I deduce you use a lot of high beam. High beam isn't really needed, anywhere (in most of the world they are illegal, in fact in many parts of Pakistan, too). Moreover, even dipped beams in this corolla are so bright they cause burnt retinas to on-comers. Pl do a favour to others and avoid use of high beams.

[BTW one person asked for advice whether to buy corolla or civic when they were buying brand-new, and I told them to buy civic because corolla's headlights hurt others too much. They asked was this the only feature I'd look for when buying a vehicle. I said yes, especially if I am at the receiving end of abuse.]

well it,s my personal experience!
there,s a diff in petrole of pso and shell!
shell petrole is better in terms of fuel economy but gives less power!
and pso pump gives less economy but more power!
do try to notice that!
i m not saying it generally but that,s wht i always experienced!!
but total petrole pumps are gud in terms of fuel economy power and also correct readings!
