Reviews on Toyota Vitz?

Please give me your honest opinion on Vitz?

Is it a good car and should I buy it or not? Any pros/cons?

great car,.. but only if you can find a good one. 99.9999% have had either their meters put back or a major accident.

my own car (KH-677) was destroyed in a crash involving my family but if you saw the car today you'd never believe me since it looks perfect. don't trust your eyes or your heart when buying a vitz. take a certified mechanic with you to inspect the car.

many people have said that the new 3cyl 1000cc model (post 05) is noisier than the old 1000cc 4cyl and is a little more thrashy to drive, something i also noticed, but if you have not driven an 03-04 then you;d never know since the 05+ is still a VERY solid machine and alot better than the local options.

if nothing else the vitz has a safety cell, side impact protection, airbags, abs, seatbelt pretensioners, etc. so it'll be safer than your current car.

However i must stress, good luck finding a good car since most are tampered with in some way or another.

Vitz is GREAT man....Everything inside it is the level of the latest corolla/honda + it has something which small cars lack ..SAFETY !!

Other things like ride,consumption,performance,AC,interior..etc ..are TOP NOTCH ...

EDIT : You`ill enjoy it...GO for it...But as storm bhai said, look for a good one.

must go for vitz. I myself owned 2001 A/T petrol. Before vitz I owned Civic but Inow am really happy and satisfied with vitz.

jst to ask you few things

1) wana keep ride on CNG?
2) can bear spare parts expense?
3) no tension of resale and all that?
4) do u have any other option in mind?
5) how much personally do u like vitz?

i had vitz sometime back, i was facing problem in its pick and it never gave me 100km/h above easily secondly cng was installed so faced starting problem, pick up and all such sh*ts. and on a run it use to loose rpm and race paddle never worked... so as Storm said do get a 99.99999999% fit car even you spend 20-30K extra than normal market if you are really one VITZ's fan.

i crashed an 06 vitz about 4 months ago. the car was COMPLETELY destroyed. yes allah saved me lekin agar gaari koi aur hoti i wud have been critically injured. extremely solid vehicle and a joy to drive. very fuel efficient.

to check if the car is okay. start it up get it to normal running temperature which will take about 5 mints i guess.
after engine is fully hot which is the normal running temperature.

pull the hand break hard.
after that put it in to reverse, because engine puts more power in it and it gives a better feel for the car.
turn the ac on while the car is in reverse and turn all the lights on with high beams.

the more the car vibrates it is more likely to have problems later.

two of my friends have vits and both vibrate a lot and even when u turn the ac on the rpm drop a lot and engine goes in to stall mode.

i think its a very overpriced car instead you can get a brand new swift with most of the bells and whistles.

there is no substitute for a new car and when jdms get problems people in lahore atleast dont know ****.
