Pardon me again bro, I have done this work in a very remote area of kashmir from my bike mechanic who shares his shop with a car mechanic.
1. I poured in the injector cleaner thingy in my tank before oil change, my OCD wasn't satisfied so on my next trip to Rawalpindi took the injectors along, got them ultrasonically cleaned in 2000rs from sultan ka kho.
2. Changed disk pads at home(bought them from a seller in lahore Atif Sheikh)
3. Chain slack can be adjusted all you need is the paddock stand, if you don't wanna spend money on a fancy one get yours made by a welder, I got mine made for both front and back from the steel grill guys who were working on my home for some steel/ iron works.
4. Oil change can be v easy like taking off no fairing to maybe a partial fairing strip depending on bike.
I am not saying I am a genius, diy guru etc. I am an average guy with a job and all. However with little google and youtube, a nice set of equipment(which I believe every guy should have) and lil help from your local mechanic you can do all this so called "Tune Up" very cheap and I learned that very hard way
Mr Bashir quoted me 35k to 40k and one week time for a valve clearance valve on my r6. I collected the required size shims from scrap market, found a 1 hr video on youtube, took my bike and laptop to my bike guy on his off day. Paid him 2500rs or 3000rs and he did exactly what the guy in video was doing, for the precise measurements I cross checked his work. It has been an year I haven't had any issues. And that was the day I decided, I will better off with a dead bike rather then going to ustad Bashir. I am still in pursuit of some good yet reasonable person though incase God forbid I need some major work done.
p.s if anyone opens a dyno tunning/ engine remapping in Pak for these bikes he will make a fortune! As almost every second bike has a removed Exup, cat removed and a shorty exhaust installed.
