If TG is written at backnof heater then its for house supplied gas and not LPG.

For LPG i think its written LP on back of heater. Only LP model can be used with lpg cylinder

Checked a shop in murree road who had a large supply of these and was giving comparatively better rates i.e. 7K for a 4.5kv or whatever the unit it. Although he was giving only check warranty and refused to agree to the term that if the heater would not work at my place (since gas pressure is low) then he would accept it back.

So I intend to check with the dealer at stadium road who agreed to these terms even on phone, or a dealer in blue area who gives more then an year of warranty.

Yup the same heater works with LPG. i am using it at home and office all u have to do is to put a control valve between lpg gas and heater.. just control the gas on the lowest level and test the heater for lower temperatures.. thats it!

Bought one unit from college road of the smallest available size, noticed most of the stuff there is junk though. It was working ok even at the lower gas pressure so bought a one step bigger one from stadium road, good dealer who also gave one season warranty on his item.

It works pretty good when the gas pressure was pretty low although working very lightly when gas pressure is almost dead

Dear All - I am facing an issue while starting tokyo gas heater... once i pressed start button, i can feel burnor burned then it goes to error state, Green light becomes Red and heater get off........... Any suggestion?

3000kcal and 3.49 KW, year made is 2000. It's got air purifier built in but I am not sure what that's really supposed to do. I got it for Rs. 12,500 including the transformer.

There is problem I guess I am not sure if it's universal or just with mine, It gives out kerosene(mitti ka tail) like smell while running. It's got TG written on back and I am running it on normal domestic Sui Gas/natural gas.

Heating wise it's good. We have a large double storey connected lounge and it took it only 2 hours to bring up the temp from from 16 to 20. Our large gas heater could never do that. It's pretty big in size and the blower has good throw. We could feel hot air blowing at us from 15ft away.

I also faced the same issue of kerosene smell when i used it for first couple of days. I thought that someone had cleaned it with kerosene oil during refurbishing. So i took the heater back to the shopkeeper who opened the cover and nothing was observed. I used it for a couple of days and afterwards there is no more smell. Probably they give out smell if not used for a long time. Hope the smell will no longer exists after some usage.

this normally happens when the gas pressure is low. Do you get any error codes on display? I get error 11 or 12 when there is no gas or low pressure
