and what about 1.7 btu 2005 above model?

i bought 2 of the above heaters, i was told this is a 2010 model and the other one is a 2014 model.

can someone please confirm its specs from the pic i have posted? also can you please tellme how to setup its timer as all the buttons are in japanese.

above heater costed me 5000 each, its 2500 btu each +-

Return it asap. It does not work like that. No flames should be visible.

Thanks. . I thought of same as there should be no flame... my other heater 3.4 kw of paloma japan is doing well and there is absolutely no need of any warm stuff when it is on

i bought 2 heaters, when you switch off room light and look at the back of heater through the filter in the corner you see blue light flames when the heater is working on its full power and blue flame dissappears when it reaches the optimal temprature.

from the back if you look closely there is slight blue flame visible!!! should it not be like that

I have never ever observed this closely bro. So can't help u in that. But if it seems OK and working fine without any smell of gas than no worries

yep no smell of gas at all and workign great alhamdulillah, my room is 10 x 15 and its warming it fairly quickly around in 10 minutes.

i dont think there is anything wrong with your heater. the gas is supposed to burn and only then does it provide heat

here is the second one.

spec sheet of both heaters attached together with this post, i guess one is 2014 model and the other is 2010 model.

both are 220v converted and are 2500 +- btu.



this one seems to be 2014 model. costed me PKR 5000


and
below one seems to be 2010 model, costed me the same.

bought both of them from Blue Area, Islamabad.

you just have to survey the market properly and things will start to unfold themselves

yesterday i switched on my japanese heater and it was emitting very strong smell.

it was working perfect for 5 days since i bought it but yesterday the smell was so strong after 30 min of use my eyes started to rash and whenever someone entered my room asked me to switch it off otherwise it will suffocate me.

i took of the heater and realized from the gas pipe there was also very smelly oil coming from the sui gas pipe.

what could be the reason? is it the heater or the sui gas pipe is suppplying different sort of gas which is giving hard time to the heater?

the heater is still in replacement warranty.

apparently the heaters are working fine today!!! i dont know what went wrong yesterday and what sort of gas was supplied via pipes by sui gas yesterday, today the heaters are working in top notch order and no smell nothing at all.

It was definitely a heater issue, must be something wrong with your Gas line.

these heaters hav many safety features...one of which is that it shuts off wen raw gas is emitted from its furnace or gas is insufficient to continue burning....it may hav been oil in the gas line that caused the smell
