Road Condition and other tips required

AOA I want to make a family trip in July 2018 to Kalam and Mahodand Lake. Can anyone share the current road condition and best n affordable hotel details.
I want to have 3-5 days trip. Thanks in advance

Your starting point? Road from Bahrain to Kalam is in worst shape.

Due to Peak Season and Bad Road - it will be a mistake to travel Bahrain - Kalam,

Average time taken these days is 8 Hours one sided Plus your Tyres damage.

Kalam as such is not considered worth to such travel - Mahodand Lake is only Spot where you will really enjoy.

Try To gather information some other Trek like Kumrat Valley (mostly Jeep Trek) or Neelum Valley Till Taobat.

I have visited Neelum Valley that was awesome yet the road condition wasn't good. I will definitely move on Kumrat Valley and Ushu Forest.. just want to have an idea because i will travel my own with my family.
