Road Conditions from GILGIT to SKARDU? 2017

I drove Cultus Till Rawlakot n Naran back in 2015. So I think I can drive good for 6-8 hours. So first stop I m thinking is in Naran at around 9;30Am. Till 10Am Will get refresh and then again start my journey. In next 8 hours I can make to Hunza? As I have not travelled on my car from Naran n onwards.

I don't think so that you can make up to hunza in 8 hours, up to gilgit yes

The road condition from chilas to raikot is worst, you can't gain speed at this section which is around 50 to 60 km

This will be my plan with time frame. Correct me If I am wrong at any point.
Will start my journey at 3am From RWP. Till Mansehra It is 157 Km So I will cover it till 6am.
Mansehra --> Balakot 37.5km Till 7 am Will make it.
Balakot --> Naran 82km. Till 9am Will make it to Naran.
Naran --> Babusar 66Km. Will start my journey from Naran at 10am n will reach Babusar at 11:30am.
Babusar --> Chilas 47KM. Till 1pm I will reach Chilas
Chilas --> Raikot 54KM. Due to bad road condition I think it will take me 2 hours to reach Raikot. So at 3am I will be in Raikot.
Raikot-->Jaglot 29KM. It will take 30 min to reach Jaglot. So at 3:30 Jaglot. Is there any hotel available in Jaglot? In case I got late so that I can stay there.
Jaglot --> Hunza 132KM. It will take 2 hours I guess due to good condition of KKH so at 5:30 I will be in Hunza.

You are underestimating your time frame, you will reach naran at 10 am, will resume journey at 11 am and it will take you up to 2.5 hours to reach babusar and then 1 bour up to chilas, chilas to raikot bridge not less than 3 hours and then hunza further 3.5 hours drive. And no there is no good hotel at jaglot to stay in. You have to stay at gilgit in case you are late. Bear in mind I have been to hunza 3 times haha

Chchilas to raikot in 2.5 hours. And raikot to to hunza in 3 hours, I give you some concession haha

So it will be minimum 8 pm to reach Hunza. So I thin I should start my journey at 1am in night to avoid any mishaps n to reach Hunza in eve 6pm.
In case there is some delay, I will stay in Gilgit.

That would be really long hectic journey, why don't you stay at naran for one night?

If I stay in Naran, I will reach Hunza on Wednesday. I will have only 2 days to explore Hunza. One will be spend in Khunjrab pass other will be passed in Altit n Baltit fort. On Sat I have to start my journey towards Islamabd. So that I can reach by Sunday.
That is why I want to reach Hunza on Tuesday Eve, so that I can add one more day that is Wednesday in Hunza.
The other possibility is to reach Chillas on day 1 means Tuesday n stay there n then start journey for Hunza on Wednesday morning at around 5am so that I can reach Hunza by 11am.

That would be better but keep in mind chilas can be too warm than your expectation

Last time I visited hunza in 2012, at that time they were carpeting raikot to hunza section, more than 50 % work had been completed

I've been there to.skardu via gilgit skardu rd in 2014. It will be taking atleast 6 hours. We are also planning for hunza and khunjerab on 2nd day of eid.

I have visited fairy meadows, astor, tarashing, skardu, sadpara and kachura also but not deosai so this summer I intend to visit deosai
