Just want to know what are the current road conditions to Nathia Gali? Has the snow melted or what? Is it advisable to travel via car with family? Anyone visited recently (this week)? Thanks.
these dayz, roadz are clear. Just avoid traveling while snowfall. once snow melts or removed from the road, its safe to drive. try to avoid driving while snowfall . its extremely dangerous

I was there with family last week and what a mess it was......Plan was to turn back if there is any snow on the road. Did not find any till Nathia gali. Stopped there for a quick lunch and viola......... heavy snow started. Made a mistake of attempting to return via muree as Nathia Gali road was blocked and I already had waited for about an hour. Snow got heavier. Reached to a point where it was impossible to drive further. Had to get the car towed. Snow chain guys were asking insanely high amount of money and luckily/unluckily I was only left with 3500 Rs left in pocket. got some scratched and small dents due to skidding while being towed. The guy took us to Daisy dot (changla gali) @ 2500 rs. After Changla Gali it was all descent on ice. Stuck in another traffic jam and managed to reach Islamabad at 5:00 in the morning.
A piece of advice, if you are going there, read the weather forecast before going. If it is clear, you might not have an of the issue that I had to face.
@parapilotWell, I had a somewhat similar experience today. It was quite an adventure. Plan was to go till Nathia Gali and have lunch there. Weather was good and roads were clear of snow until we reached a point just a few kilometers after crossing Ayubia. It was all snow (infact slush) and the road was all downhill for about 1 km. Too late now as we could not turn back as there were no turning spaces. Went all the way downhill till the snow cleared and decided it was not wise to go any further so turned around and started the now uphill snow climb only to find the road blocked by 5 coasters of LUMS students going to NG. Now things got worst as when I stopped on the uphill track the car lost all traction and refused to move in the snow (wheels started spinning). Local guys pushed it for a little while but it again got stuck. I decided to put on snow chains, which a local guy was offering (smart business minded people, these locals, i tell you). Things got better as the car started moving under its own power and after about 1hr of adventure we were home free. Paid Rs 700 to the chain guys. My advice to anyone traveling in snow is to carry their own snow-chains.

no chance of snowfall in late feb or in march.yes safe to go there with careful driving.
the only place to go in these mosam/months is murree/galiyat.

i went there this sunday/was bright sunny day/went uninterrupted from pindi muree nathiagali abbottabad hassanabdal and back 2 pindi but avoid going in inclement weather

please avoid visit to these area today means 26,27,28, cos heavely snow falling and very dangrous to travel. i have visited this area to 25 feb. night. hoo my God lot of snow slides on a way.
I came back last night, and i went nathia gali on 26 eve, lots of snow there on thw way but roads are open, very heavy fog as well, 27 was bit sunny, and on 28, again some rain and fog.

i went there on friday, and stayed for two days, came back last sunday, feb 28.
Nothing to do there any special, just spendd some time with kids, in snow!!

ok, first day i stay at kamran hotel, on nathia mall road, and 2nd day its a private guest house, next to galliyat hotel, on the upper side of nathia gali.
