The next day we had a late breakfast of garma garam parathasā¦the traditional ones (squarish, parath walay) and fried eggs/omlets with chai at the hotel. Let me tell you that the parathas were an instant hit and between 15 persons (3 families) we ate 30. The cook eventually had to take the rest of the day off!
After a memorable breakfast we hit the road and drove up to the Shangri-La Pines Hotel. Parked our rides there and took the track up to the small zoo (sorry, I donāt know the name of the track. Was too busy trying to keep the kids in tow).
