True but it saves you from the nasty traffic of Multan and its broken roads , overall it is a better bet to go from Lodhran-Khanewal route.

Agreed! Went via Multan in 2010 and it was a PAIN! I just hope NHA realises the potential of this route and works on making it a real expresway soon!!

Once we had freshened up we headed to Hardees for some juicy burgers.

2 days of driving and no relaxation makes JACK a dull boy. So we agreed that the next day we would relax and not rush things. Our next stop was Islamabad so why rush it so we decided to meet up at Thokar Niaz Beg at 11:30am.

Yes, for City on 70:30 basis. 70 petrol and 30 CNG. Driving on the highway on CNG is frustrating. So I stuck to CNG when driving in the city.

At this point I would like to make a special mention of Pakwheeler ahmadbila (Honda City Fan Club Thread) for his prompt reponse and support with advise and guidance. When I drove into Lahore, I noticed that my car was making a squeaking sound every time I pressed the clutch...and as rightly indicated by PW ahmadbila, the squeaking sound just went away. Thank you!
