Road Trip from Islamabad to karachi

I am planning to go from Islamabad to Karachi in my car with family . this would be my first long road trip ,

Where should i stay in between journey (hotel with good parking and family friendly)
aur kon kon si mushkilaat ka samna krna par sakta hai ??
I would be leaving from islamabad on 18 December

Kissi kisam ki koi mushkilaat nahin hein Its safe to travel. Islamabad say safar shoroo karein aur Multan mein stay ker lein .Multan say tank full kerwa ker Multan Sukher motorway pakrein aur enjoy kertey hooye Karachi pohnch jayein. Koi difficulty nahin hey .Weather update zaroor ley lein Fog ya Smog ziada na ho aur main difficulty bhi bus yehi hey. Have a safe journey

No problem, road are much pleasant and faster now.

Better to break your journey in Sukkur, its throughout motorway from Islamabad till there. If you will stay in Multan then you have to take drive of 13-15 hours till karachi, out of which approx 7.5 - 9 hours on National highway, which is an unpleasant experience at night specifically.

Isb-Sukkur= Total Motorway, pleasant and smooth ride.
Sukkur - Khi = Good during the day time. Leave early and you'll be in khi by Maghrib.

I would also suggest to stay the night at Sukkur. Leave Sukkur around 5AM to avoid traffic as much as you can, I would not encourage leaving earlier than that because there are too many stray dogs/jackals on the road which can be a nuisance at dark.

Take the link road to Indus Highway at Qazi Ahmed which will take you to Aamri and connect you to Indus Highway which is mostly single carriage at this point in time as road work is under way, but it will still save you 1 hour drive time easily. I had personally experienced this while coming back from Lahore last month. Even the single road is newly built with one or two small patches of gravel.

Your best option of rest/snacking is at Royal Taj restaurant Moro, which has a wide variety of good food and clean washrooms.
