Pir Sohawa is excellent Point...

Damen-e-Koh is 5 Km from Faisal Mosque.. and on the road further 8 km you will reach to Monal Resturant, execellant views of Islamabad city. (Its on the hill top)

Ahead Monal Resturant, 8-10 Km is The Pir Sohawa Point...

I'll try to make it to Pir sohawa too, kindly also advise on the security check point in ISB, i heard that after every 100 M there is check point, is it correct or only myths. on the way from lahore to Pindi I'll stretch directly to daman-e-koh and pir sohawa. if all goes well. you guys are bags of knowledge while reading the other threads you are really helpful to all, kindly also advise the time duration from saif-ul mulook to ansoo lake and return to saif lake again.

yes there are too many check posts in isb. but u dont have to worry as long as u have complete documents of ur car and ur driving license and u r wearing belt and not over speeding, islamabadi cops r very strict.. if u r going to daman e koh then do visit said pur village which is behinf marghazar zoo...its the next signal from zoo and very good place

I am planning the same trip after 25th July 2011, will any body tell me is the bridge of balakot repaired or a make shift arranged. I shall be on Honda city so appreciate if any body tell me how is the road condition for honda upto naran/kaghan

i wont suggest taking the new/present model of city there, if u hv the previous model then its ok
