Road trip Karachi to khunjerab pass

****Dear ALL.****.

Me with my 4 friends will be leaving from Karachi to Khunjerab pass on my civic Vti 96 1.6,

You all are requested to please share your experiences and suggest us the equipments to take and relevent advices.

RIDE IS:

Honda Civic VTI 1.6 MODEL 96

ROUTE WILL BE:

Karachi to Faisalabad
FSD TO bALAKOT
BALAKOT TO RAIKOT BRIDGE THAN FAIRY MEADOWS
RAIKOT To GILGIT
GILGIT TO HUNZA KHUNJERAB AND BCK
GILGIT TO NALTAR VALLEY AND BCK TO NARAN
NARAN TO LAHORE
LHR TO KARACHI

Please suggest us the followings:

CAR modifications if any???
Luggage to carry???
Where can we do Camping???
Weather will be fine to travel in MID-JUNE ???
RAIN ???
Naran CHlLLAS route will be open in JUNE ????
Petrol Availablitiy???
Other Precautions ???

Dear
1. Car is okay don't need any modification
2. Luggage will depend upon whether you want to do camping or hotel stay. If you are gonna do camping then you will need a lot more stuff which will be difficult to carry as you are already 5 people in vehicle so camping option will be difficult
3. You can do camping any where in Northern areas. Most viable options are Naran, Hunza and Naltar. You can do camping there. A lot of camping sites are available
4. You can check weather for Rain
5. Mid June is good time to travel but keep in mind this will be peak season, you will encounter a lot of rush and hotels will be quite expensive
6. Babusar Top will most probably be open in Mid June
7. Petrol is available throughout not a worry. Just keep in mind there is no petrol pump after Sost till Khunjerab Pass so you should have enough fuel to make it back to sost. Return trip from Sost to Pass is about 110 kms
8. Give Sadqa, pray to Almighty and have a safe journey

• If you have CNG in your car then remove the cylinder for more space,
• When fuel gauge will reach in Mid then try to refuel from the first available pump.
• Keep Jacket, if snowfall starts in khunjrab.
• you have 5 people in the single car with luggage so I think to install a spacer on Jumps.
• keep the umbrella.
• Keep Immersion Water Heater, If you need hot water for a bath, some hotels provide this or some not, so its better you have your own.
• Keep Multi-Plug in charge multiple things at a time.
• Keep Car Air Filter, Oil Filter, and Oil, when you start your back journey then change it
• Keep First AID kit.
• Keep some basic tools, wires etc for the car.

Travel in in a sedan with 5 passengers on such a long route is always uncomfortable for the back seat passengers. It is a tight fit...

yes you are right but my 3 frnds are weak around 50 to 6 kg and they can sit on back seats easily thats y im going with 5
