Uneeb! Absolutely spot on, route should be
KHI-Ubauro ( about 490 KM), Ubauro-Guddu-Kashmore (35 KM), Kashmore-DG KHAN BY-Pass (195 KM), Turn right at the Roundabout towards Ghazi Ghat Bridge-M'Garh and at M'garh Turn Left to M-M road and head to ISB.
Road Conditions- Heard that Dadu-Larkana section is totally ripped off (June-09) and it's bad so won't recommend you this route.
Ubauro-Kashmore (Its OK single road but not much of traffic but a small stretch anyway, not advisable in the night at all)
Kashmore-DG KHAN: Excellent, Kashmore-Rajanpur stretch is about 105 KM and press the paddle to the floor and you should be able to do this within 50 minutes (depending upon the car) 'cause no traffic, no CHINGXI, no Donkey carts and above all no Motorway police.
DG KHAN-M'Garh-GOOD
M-M road: Brand new and 4 vehicles wide-Excellent
M'wali-Talagang: Good till Musa Khel- The moment you go downhill from Musa Khel mountains past Namal College, the road is under construction for last 3 years but most of the road is constructed and you will find patches of not more then 400m, at different places ( I believe 5-6), that was in May'09 when I travelled last and hoping they might have done the other bit.
Talagang-M2-Brand new and good with new bridges
I usually start early in the morning-say about 5 'o' clock (means at H'way, easier for me 'cause I live in Maymar) to avoid tractor trolleys and Gadha garhis in Sindh and it usually takes 11-12 hours to reach M'garh.
