We picked up a guide who said there was an "ABSHAAR" close by. We had been to one many years ago which was frankly a dissapointment then. Since we had nothing better to do and all the time in the world we said fine; lets go check out the Abshaar!

Wasnt much different to our last visit...at least it gave the tiny tots something to do.

Mmmm mouth watering...the famous Taj chicken. A trip to Nathiagali and no Taj chicken is like not visiting Nathiagali at all!!

Decided to head back to the Raees Khana for some much needed rest. And tea in our style as the ladies put it (you know teabag, whitener etc, etc). So we went along with it not knowing that we would end up making the tea while they played ludo with the kids!!

After a heavy breakfast left Nathiagali enroute to Islamabad by pasing Murree via the new expressway.

Umbrellas on the road side...a familiar sight in Nathiagali.
Although there was heavy cloud cover but it didnt rain. Our first trip to Nathia and that too without rain! I miss the NG rain.

Brother thanks for sharing your wonderful trip. If I will manage leaving office, InshaAllah I will hit the road this Sunday and my route would be other way round; Lahore-Islamabad-Nathiagali-Abbottabad-Naran-Abbottabad-Islamabad-Lahore.

Your narrative explains every thing; I just have one questions. On my above proposed itinerary, where mobile signals are available, I will carry Telenor postpaid and Mobilink Jazz connection.

Congratulation...I hope you have a memorable road trip. We had 3 connections in the car...Mobilink Jazz, Ufone and Warid and didnt have problems with signals dropping for any on the entire route. So you should have no problems on the route you have indicated. So go ahead and enjoy the outing and the great outdoors. Call me on 0321 8276720 if you need any tips.
