On our return trip we experienced the old salt range route which was like a never ending story...we had decided at the spur of the moment to visit Khewra salt mines. More of that later, much later.

Noticed that the air was low in the wheel so decided to get it checked. The puncture guy took out one nail that was stuck in the tire. Asked the person to also check the presure in all tires...in the absence of a digital meter he used a traditional one which I'm not very comfortable with.

Nice tour and really good effort to go with family on long tour.
I think you did not visit Lahore en rout, then, why not you go throuhg TT Sing Faisalabad as it is short rout to Islamabad from Multan.
Anyway, amazing pics and narration.

Thank you bro Zahid135. Yes, we really enjoyed the road trip, shukar Alhamdolillah! Well since time was short we wanted to get to the mountains as quickly as possible so decided to stop in Lahore on the way back. Wasnt aware of the TTsingh Faisalabad route...nevertheless would have prefered the motorway just for the experience.

Approached Cadet Colege Hasan Abdal...called up our nephew who is back in Karachi on his summer break from the college to tell him that we are now right in front of his school. What an amazing institution!

And now hitting N35 which is also known as the 9th wonder of the world...the KKH. The KKH is the highest paved international road in the world conecting Pakistan with China via the Karakorum mountain range.
