We decided to take a walk and explore the streets of Naran and came across this place...had seating arrangements next to the stream. It was fun soaking our feet in the ice cold water.

This is the hotel we stayed in at Naran. Nice, clean and comfortable accomodation.

Next day at dawn, we decided to check out the sleeping town and stroled downed to the edge of town. Discovered this tent village which was occupied by travellers like us. Everyone was there to get a glimpse of the natural beauty.

Here it was...the most difficult bridge I had ever crossed. No support, no railings and gushing water below. You looked down and your head started to spin. The funny phrase " my head is eating circles...mera sir chukar kharaha hai!" suddenly came to mind.

But this was one obstacle that we needed to overcome.

We began our journey in our 4X4s on a track that was tough yet challenging. We were literally sitting on the edge of our seats. The driver told us that this is a new route much better and wider than the previous. And all the drivers got together to fund the development work on it. Development work was an understatement. It was evident that only expert 4X4 drivers who know the route are capable of going back and forth with ease.

I just cannot imagine how this got to where it was on a track that was a big challenge even for 4X4s!!! Why was the owner bent on torturing this poor car...see what I mean.

We edged along and tried to keep our minds off the road and enjoy the scenery...but believe me it was extremely difficult.
