And we were now driving along side the Kunhar river...imagine the trout fish making its way up the river against the flow of the water...that's what we were trying to do.

This place was full of surprizes for us!

We had never seen anything like this before let alone drive through it. Now driving through the flooded streets of Karachi is something else and this my dear friends was just amazing. For a moment I didnt know if I would be able to get us across this stream of water that was flowing down the mountain in a rush...alhamdolillah, we cut across slowly yet steadily and made it to the other side!

Didi'nt I tell you this place is full of surprizes!

Now, imagine driving through a deep freezer...that's exactly what we did when we crossed our first glacier!!

Never seen anything like this before...only in pictures. This my friends was the real thing!

It was still raining and we noticed that the sound of the rain drops had changed...they had actually turned into ice pellets! One of the kids stuck their hand out and caught some. Unfortunately could'nt capture it on camera.
