and the dreadful descend and then ascend
AOA bro very informative and beautifully elaborated travelog.i just wana know the road condition from kalam to dir , is it possible on own 4/4 jeep.or from dir to kalam , which is the best way to travel.
Thanks boss,I haven't done this track from dir to kalam but i have seen other people's thread where they have done it on their own 4x4s through utror pass
AOA bro, is dir to kalam or kalam to dir doable or not ? thats the question.
Yes, When you reach Kumrat from Dir then from here you can go Kalam via Badgai Pass. it is approx. 4 hrs jeep track but excellent beauty. Although the track is not so good due to flood in this year but it is open. You will enjoy Lamoti dense forests which are more dense than Kumrat valleyThis track will end at Utror from there kalam on right side & Gabral on left side.
No. From Jindrai you can go on jeep for one hour up to Dakaar then you start track from there
You can travel on own 4x4 from Utror/Kalam to Thal/Dir or Thal to Utror via Badgai Top/Pass.From Thal to Badgai Top is easy as ascend is gradual but from Utror to Badgai top ascend is very sharp. We crossed Badgai top from Thal to Utror in 2014 on own 4x4 Mini Pajero 1.1L.
kumraat love.... beautiful trip ..
Wonderful trip.Attempted Kumrat from Kalam-Utror side on bike recently. The track was full of adventures and some steep ascensions.
