When we reached bit higher on Buzi top, it was looking at its still mid day and light was very good for photography but we kept going on towards Ormara:

As we start to descend, we can see the ocean again and i think it is called golden beach/Mehdi beach and as per plan we stopped here on our way back...

Finally reached in the middle of Buzi Pass, where the princess of hope and other sculptures are present:

Anyway - After this mobile signals were reconnected and I started to communicate with my friend about our stay at Naval Base in Ormara. He took our ID information and passed onto security and other staff so they will let us in.

We reached the Ormara Central mess around 6:30PM after going through all the security check points and our getting room keys from the reception. First issue we faced there was that there was acute water shortage, hot to kia cold water bhe bohat kamm available tha...
We requested them if we pay extra, can you pls make chicken/rice for us which wasn't resulted in a good end anyway we did very simple dinner as per the mess menu, which was 1.Daal 2.mix vegetable & 3. Custard.
After dinner we decided to go around the mess. There was some snooker table which Naveed and Fawad did enjoy a bit and then we visited the place where they have preserved the sea creatures:

After dinner when we asked for the Tea in mess they asked us that we can get it from cafe outside the building. Naveed wants to go out for cigrette as well so we went to cafe.
It was just 8PM but by the quietness of the area seems that in the middle of night... anyway it was all dark and quite and i tried to take some pictures, which I know are not pretty good:

It was the first look of cafe, but when we get closer then we saw the background...

There was a huge mountain at the back, so this mess was actually hidden behind this mountain

The guy running cafe was very nice and cooperative. This is was the most funny thing I saw there:

When we wake up early in the morning, since we can't see the area where we were so we went outside as we have to leave early because we have to cover a long distance again...

Sorry for bad light, as it was 7AM and the sun was not shining properly...

Dear Aqeel. Nice travelogue. Pls also add culture and population in the visited area of balochistan. Is pre booking required to stay in army rest houses or these are open for civilian to stay with families travelling to gawadar on coastal highway.

Thanks sir. I will try to add population and cultural info of the visited areas as much as I can since we didn't have much interaction with local population the reason was the points where we visited were mostly unpopulated and we mostly stayed in Armed Forces' guest houses.
Yes pre-booking is required and i guess they will check your ID check using your CNIC and you must have a close reference to have the booking, actually the booking is done under that armed forces personal and you will be treated as his guest there and yes its open for families.

AoA Adeel, thanks for the inspiration and a detailed travelogue. We are also planning a Tour de PAKISTAN with family around end Dec to start Jan. Starting from ISB we plan to go to Karachi with some stays/ sightseeing enroute. Then, we plan to head to Quetta and visit the coastal highway sites/ beaches en route. From Quetta we will be heading back to home. If we were not to bug any army friends/ relatives, please advise what could be our hotel options at say Kund Malir, etc keeping in view we will be two adults and five kids (4-16). Or maybe we can do kund malir volcano etc. in a day trip from Karachi?
With family do you advise going to Thar desert or skip it?

Hi Asim, its good to know that you are going to explore Pakistan with family. There are lot of things to look while you going from Isb to Khi so you have to plan as per the number of days you have. Also keep in mind Quetta and Coastal highway are no way near... its a long distance to cover between both areas.
There are few options near kund malir and I think you can easily book them on phone or even on arrival as well usually they are not that busy, about Pasni and Ormara, they are not very big towns but you can still get average to good hotels in the area, since I didn't need so i haven't done much research on that. Though I tried to find some reasonable hotel in Gwadar because of unavailability of Naval guest houses but we didn't like the hotels which we looked in main bazar...
You can easily do mud-volcano+kund malir as a day trip from Karachi but make sure you leave early as traffic jam near Hub gets worse in morning and in evening. If your time persists you should go to Thar desert but do some research about the areas to explore there as I haven't done much bcoz i just wanted to go Khokhrapar zero point.

Anyway we went back, had breakfast in the mess, cleared all the dues for stay and food and cam back towards our car in parking. Aaj hum ne Iran border, Jiwani aur Gwadar jana tha to we decided to wear Shalwar Qameez to respect local culture (Fadi didn't bring any) but unfortunately there was no ironing facility and if we give dress for pressing it would have wasted almost one hour more so we decided to wear and go as it is

There was little bit more light as the sun started to rise...

And when we left the mess and were going towards Ormara beach, finally Sun we could see the sun at 8:02AM:

This was the mountain range which is covering almost complete one side of Ormara city...

Then we reached the Ormara beach, on google maps it is called: Omer Farooq Beach, Ormara, Pakistan

Though it was very early and there was little fog as well but the view was spectacular:

This is actually the boat ramp, which I have not seen on many places in Pakistan.

After this we were back on the Makran Coastal highway at 9AM and the point where Ormara city road join the N-10, the monument was getting renovation...
