RoadTrip : Rawalpindi to Karachi, Makran Coastal Highway, Gwadar, Irani border, Interior Sindh, Thar and Indian Border at Khokhrapar

After traveling on small ormara road and getting back onto coastal highway it was looking like a motorway to us and Naveed drove very smoothly and fastly...

Beautiful sand dunes on Arabian sea:

In this video you can see the electric pillar, these are to be used for electricity import from Iran, these pillars are in use upto Gwadar and are not connected after that.

From quite far, we can see some small population and upto my surprise, there were some little agri land as well which is very rare in this area:

Signs of greenery started to appear:

Whereever the land is fertile, people would love to live there:

I was quite surprise to see all this greenery in the middle of deep deserted kind of area but we came to know the reason very soon bcoz this area was next to Basol River, which is a small river flowing from the mountains in north of this area.
And this area has a wonder date form as well:

The amazing sky is adding more to its beauty... I wish we could have gone inside the form.

After 5 minutes of travelling at 9:22am we were in a totally different kind of landscape, this is the beauty of Makran Coastal highway, you see so many kinds of landscapes...

bhai yeh to chalti gari mein se iphone6 jaisay porany phone se main ne banayi hain, imagine karo if we stop there and these pics are taken by a professional photographer with good DSLR how more beautiful they will be...

If anyone want to travel on this road and you are little confused about the security of the area so let me tell you that this road has high security because of the check posts after every few kilometers and specially on the junctions of different roads and these check posts are managed by local police, Pakistan coast guards and rangers. Some posts are actively checking and some posts are dormant at some time of day, here is one these:

The road around buzi makula wild life sanctuary is very very smooth, we passed this area like bullet train, i know we should follow speed limits but Nido bhai zara mood mein thay us time... have a look at this video...

Road bhe bohat straightforward tha aur sides bhe veeran aur barren thi is liye gari k andar ka mahool bhe kuch silent tha aur monotony chayi hui thi:

i am planing to visit quetta with my son - then move to ziarat as he wishes to see snow in december last week. is roads and overall situation is fine. can i travel. we will go by bus from Karachi. Inshallah

we didn't travel towards north from coastal highway so i m not sure about that. But in terms of road quality coastal highway is much better than any road in Pakistan, we easily maintained 80-100km/h speed on average.

We were approaching towards Pasni city rapidly but our plan was to skip Pasni while going towards Gwadar and reach Iran border in day time ASAP.
This is how you are welcomed by Pasni city

Keep going straight if you wanna go inside Pasni city or go right for rest of the Makran Coastal highway upto Iran border.

As soon as we crossed the Pasni city, we were back into sort of desert area again, this is what the milestone says:

I love the most this kind of patches of the Coastal highway:

Aur desert ki waja se gari k andar aik dafa phir khamoshi chayi hui thi per main aur Nido aisi long drive ko pasanda kertay hain so i know what he is feeling!!!

These off roads signs are for the shortcut for between coastal highway and Pasni city road, via Pasni airport road:

This Road goes towards Pasni Airport which is actually PNS Makran airbase, this road also goes back to Pasni city.
