Hi THere,
I have a RockMars DVD Player and I wish to Play Vidoes Via USB on my player. The problem is i have tried different .mp4 formats but none of them worked. How ever I downloaded some videos from Internet and they do play . their format is also .mp4. Can some one who is already using rockmars DVD player . Double Din tell me exact software and converting format to play?

Check in the manual. They must have mentioned the supported formats.

download in avi format.

your player may play Divx format of older version, but as new versions are released they can be played by installing the new codecs in PC but same cant be done for DVD player as codecs are programmed on chip.

Thanks for all your replies. I need the exact format as I have tried different formats but they didnt work. I have tried divx, Mp4 etc. May be there is exact setting of screensize bitrate etc involved. Any one using and playing in their player please provide the working settings.

Philips dvd player which can play videos from portable hard drive 250GB.
It only play avi, mpeg4,divx, mp3, mp2, mp1, mov files.

Avi with mpeg4 codec. never use h.264 codec.

Xilisoft total video converter is the best....

Thanks to Ahmed AKA A1ms I believe. It supports psp Mpeg4 format and I used Imtoo converter.

download youtubedownloader. after downloading run it. click on convert. choose the format psp.mp4, thats it:)

guys i have DVD-6120 Player rockmars i am unable to find our the base option on this play can any 1 let me know how can i set the base with play or remote ? if any 1 have the same player..

bump. I recently bought a rockmars dvd player as well (DD-7207) and I want to play videos on it via usb but unclear about the format I use format factory for video conversion. Any advice about what formats does the player play?

Download atubecatcher, convert in avi divx mpeg4 format and play videos, from my personal experience.

I'll try converting the video to DivX format. Do I need to do any changes to the audio output settings?
