There is wonderful view of the area while standing next to rani mahal .. i tried to make some large panoramas but failed badly as u can see their quality dropped ... need to check how to take better panoramas from my phone ... was first time ..

Now we were getting late ... it was almost 2:20 PM and we have to leave for Mangla to do lunch and catch a boat ... Also we have seen some more parts of the fort before ... and it started to rain as well ..

So we took shortcut through Shah Chand Wali gate and left rohtas

yes buhat jaga koora painaka howa hai ... aur smell b a rahien hien ... very disappointing ... aur fort ki maintenance b buhat kam hoi hoi hai ... and other general facilities missing or not upto mark ... aisay he raha tu kuch years mien koi nahi aiy ga ...

There is first gate (Khwas Khani) which you can pass and take ur car. This stretch is occupied by residential houses. So you can drive past these until you reach the parking place a little before Sohail gate. Most visitors park their vehicles there and explore on foot. However the road ahead of Sohail Gate leads to Garha Sikandar so its regularly commuted area even by public transport. So you can take ur car too.

However you can't take ur car to areas like Haveli Man Singh, Rani Mahal etc.
