So we left rohtas around 2:40 PM and started moving to mangla throught Dina bypass road ... and reached mangla cantt

well our driver was confident that he know the roads and he will take us there .. but i noticed we have gone too far on in mirpur road and asked driver that we are on right road or not .. and he did not had any clue of that

so we asked few people and they told us the way to Mangla boating club ... some how we managed to reach there ...

here comes our biggest mistake of the tour ...

We called the guy in the hotel where we had booked the lunch asked him were it was ... (as he has told us its next to boating club) .. when we told him that we are at mangla boating club ... he said "janab ap to dosri taraf nikal gaay hien .. come to MVR previously known as MTR .. ask anyone and they will guide you"..

everyone was little disappointed as it was getting darker and darker and we are missing the chance of boating ... and we have to go some unknown place ...

here it is what we had to do ...

now we were trying to find MTR and we did not had proper GPRS signals to turn on google navigation using mobile ... so kept on asking people on way and they guided us to Mangla View Resort ...

so going back from Mangla Boating Club to MTR

one more thing i would like to tell you guys is that next to KFC in mangla cantt .. there a branch of pizza hut too ...

now we were inside MVR ... and trying to find the restaurant ... it was raining heavily ... just after rain stopped

everyone was feeling very hungry and we only had water and some bubbles with us ... and there was not a single person which we can see in mangla view resort ... bungalows are very beautiful but most of the area in under development ... beautiful place but spooky

and finally the lunch

here is what we had ...

1 - Russian Salad
2 - Egg Fried Rice
3 - Chicken Manchurian
4 - Chicken Karachi
5 - Naan / Roti
6 - Raita & Salad
7 - Cold Drinks & water
8 - Trifle (after returning from the lake)
9 - Tea (after returning from the lake)

Unlimited supply in 900 per head (costly as compared to buffet in Lahore .. but still it was good enough) ... some images are very blurry as i was very hungry and we have to catch the boat

it was getting dark again due to clouds and also sun was about to set ... so went running towards boating area

there were no more boats left and there was only one fleet sort of boat ... a man was signaling us to hurry up ... and we kept moving towards it ... the area was muddy and as we were about to reach the big fleet.. rain started and it took off and he said sorry that its too late now..

And we returned to hotel ... all wet ...

so we all rested for a while and had our trifle followed by tea ... we got very late and we left the hotel around 7:20 pm ... so it was dark out there ... and whole area looked hunted ... typical movie scene ... we were going alone in our car and no one else out there ... we can hear the sound of thunder followed by lighting ... so all were now relaxed and tired as well ... after 20 minutes we found ourselves standing outside the same hotel we left 20 mint ago ...

some of us were recalling the movie "Triangle" and few were saying "Wrong Turn" .. we went in the hotel with driver and asked the hotel owner/manager to tell our driver way out ... he was a nice man and he guided the driver ... so we got back into the car and restarted our journey back home ... all were hoping that we don't get lost at this point ...

And finally we were able to get out of MVR .. right after that the hotel owner / manager called us to know if we are able to make it out of here or not .. it was kind of him ... anyways we headed back to Dina and from GT road ... back to Lahore ... reached home at 12:30..

Zabardast, got nice information about Rohtas Fort, sorry to ask you where is the located this Fort, and how many KM from Lahore,

almost 200 KM from Lahore ... you need to use GT road ... after crossing jhelum river .. just before Dina ... take left turn ... few km on that road would take you to fort ...
