Here is that feeling .....

Its very easy to see if a Rolex is fake. The crown on the 6 o clock position on the glass is usually never there or its too big. Another big giveaway is the weight of the watch itself. Im not a watch expert but even I can tell you if a Rolex is fake usually. Its stupid to wear a fake watch that will cause embarrassment when someone who knows them will notice it. There are less expensive watches out there that will last you for pretty much your entire life without costing you a fortune (Grand Seiko being one of them).

Scratch hamesha lagte hain waqt ke saath saath. That is a nice vintage Rolex. Old ones can sometimes be worth a lot of money. I saw a Submariner from the 1960s recently sell for almost $25k

I am about to buy my first watch ever but wont be no 'high end rolex' or sumthing. would be a Casio Edifice. since i dont know anything about watches i guess its gonna be an okayish start. otherwise, mentioning it here is like bringing a tata nano to a super car GTG

Ahmed I will suggest you to go for Seiko Tachymeter 100m chronograph, built quality far better then Edifice series and price not more than 30K - 35K PKR (current khi market) -- in 2006 I got it for 24K

I am using one since 2006 bought it along with my Cultus, still going strong.

I will not get into weather it's fake or original , but let me tell u about scratches , earlier Rolex models like till late 80s Rolex watches had plastic glass which was not scratch resistant , Rolex later introduced all watches in sapphire crystal which is pretty much scratch resistant.

A few years ago I would never consider spending so much money on a watch but the reality is your Casio, Apple Watch or anything similar will look good for a couple of years and then it will get outdated and you will stop wearing it or simply give or throw it away. A nice Rolex, Breitling or Patek Phillipe can be worn for the rest of your life and one day you could give it to your children or grandchildren and they can wear it just as nicely as you can do it today. Plus they dont lose value. I could easily sell my Rolex right now for as much as I paid for it even after wearing it for many years.

That is true Swiss luxury watches appreciate in value and remain timeless also wearing one does give you a subtle sign of being well off
