Hi Rotary friends. My name is Yousaf i am from KHI.

My recent purschase was a Mazda 929 75 model and after that i bought a 13b rotary engine from shersha , it was recently rebuilt and seller claims it should be working fine.

I am going to swap the rotary engine in my 929 and will need some help on the way. Here is my ride , not the best looking but will do the job.

Now thats what i call a project ....... all the best

Its quite easy putting it in te 929, once you get working on it - you will see the floor/frame/subframe/transmission tunnel are equipped to accept a rotary. The 12A will drop in without batting an eyelid, a little work with the 13B.

Ive scored a very clean RX5 in Karachi (2 door version of your 929 - if its the same pointy nose one) - complete with rotary, sitting dead for quite some time.

Few videos of my friends' fd's wooping some piston's on the strip last weekend. Both cars should be in the 9's or even 8's this year with more boost on the way:o:o

The white one was constantly having problems with the quick shift and kept missing from 2nd to 3rd.

I want to get my CAT removed and replace t with straight pipe. Anyone from karachi know which mechanic i can go to (reliable) to get get this done? and is a straight pipe available in those zamzama shops (cost). Thank you

I am planning to buy a RX-8 soon.. could anyone tell me what is the fuel consumption of 1300cc rotary.. plus is it better to buy a rotary engine RX-8 or swapped engine one? (someone told me rotary stops functioning properly after 30k kms)

help would be appreciated

The fuel consumption of 1.3L Rotary is 5 to 6 Km average , max 10 km if you drive her like granny .

It is absolutely better to own a RX-8 with a Rotary engine .

Rotary engine stops functioning properly after 30k kms ? you give me a Rotary engine (at your cost) and i will make it dis functional at just 5k kms
who ever told you this story does not how to maintain a Rotary engine or probably never owned one .

The key for a long lasting and a healthy Rotary engine lye in religious maintenance , you take care of the engine and it will serve you years and years of loyal service

TIPS ABOUT KEEPING YOUR RX-8 and RX-7 (ROTARY ENGINE HAPPY)

1. always put Hi-Octane fuel
2. let you car warm up first before driving
3. never shut off your rotary engine when it is cold , it will cause engine flood
4. use only non-synthetic oil for your car
5. change engine oil at 2500km or 3000km (i change it at 1500km for my RX-7)
6. always change oil filter when when changing engine oil
7. always top up your engine oil when you refuel your car (rotary=oil burn)
8. let the car rest for a while (2mins) before switching off the engine
9. rotary engines are rev happy by default
   10.red line your engine occasionally , rotary engine enjoys to be red lined
