Hello,
3. never shut off your rotary engine when it is cold , it will cause engine flood
It is not a good idea to shut off a Rotary engine before reaching its optimal operating temperature , a Rotary engine tends to run rich when it is dead cold , which means more fuel is being dumped by the injectors into the combustion chamber , if we happen to shut off the engine in between this phase there is a high chance for the engine to flood on next start up cause of the excess unburned fuel .
EG : Starting the car and just parking it some where else in your garage and switching off the engine without reaching the optimal temperature.
7. always top up your engine oil when you refuel your car (rotary=oil burn)
Rotary engines are designed in such a way that they have to lubricate the seals and the E-shaft , and in this process a little oil always tends creep in the camber and burns , this also the reason why you see white puff of smoke from the exhaust at high RPM's . it is generally a good idea to check the engine oil levels regularly , if you feel the oil is lower on the dip stick simply refill just a little .
red line your engine occasionally , rotary engine enjoys to be red lined
Well the above quote is self explanatory , do it on open and empty roads , safety first , secondly your coolant level should be full , if you are pushing your engine to max heat will be accumulated very quickly , and heat is by far the biggest enemy of a Rotary engine .
I have explained the points to the best of my knowledge , hope it helped .
