Route Help from Karachi to Lahore

I am planning to go to Lahore from Karachi by road. Google maps is showing two routes and highways (N5 & N55) from Hyderabad to Sukkur. Can anyone guide which route or highway is better (N5 or N55) for travelling by car.

Karachi - (Motorway aka Super highway) Hyderabad (N5 Indus / National Highway) - Nawabshah - Sukker (M5) - Multan (m4)- Lahore

Thanks. But someone told me that there are heavy vehicles on N5 highway so it is better to travel on N55 highway from Hyderabad to Sukkur. What are your views on this ?

heavy traffic is everywhere,

leave karachi at 4 am that is when you will be at tail end of heavy traffic, by the time you reach nawabshah heavy vehicles will start to park and rest for few hours., upto Sukkar.

from Sukkar top up fuel tank and can exit to Motorway upto Multan. all clear.

Karachi to Jamshoro M9
Jamshoro to Aamri N55 Single road max speed 100kph
At Amri take route to Qazi Ahmed Bridge.
Qazi Ahmed to Sukkur via N5 dual carriageway
Sukkur to Multan to Lahore Motorway.

Best route
I use the same route while going towards mansehra
It save more than hour
From jamshoro to aamri bridge take almost hour. The road is almost double till aamri with very less traffic
Then after wards 30km link road till qazi Ahmed
This route help me to avoid traffic flow from hyd till saeedbabd
From qazi Ahmed it is about 3.5 hour till sukkur with avg speed of 100

I don't always believe what Google tells me. My advise is to stick to N5 till Rohri and then M5 to Multan and beyond. Just make sure you top up fuel at PSO Bedal petrol pump before hitting M5. In case you need another top up at Multan then exit at Shah Shams Tabrez, fuel up and then get back on M4. Good luck!
