Rpm dropping and stagnant at 500 at D

Hi Pakwheelers,

I have 2019 corolla 5050km driven. When i put the car in P or N the RPM is at between 750 to 850. But when i am in d and the car is on idle, the rpm is between 550 to 650 which i feel odd as i feel slight vibration. Need advise as what should i do. It is 1.8 Altis. Airfilters were never changed but only was serviced at 4000km where i changed the oil and oil filter.

So when the car is in D i don't think so that RPM can drop to 500 unless you have your foot on brake pedal. if that is the case i think it is normal as same is the case with car.

At d, i press the breaks obviously when im idle. During that the rpm stays at 550

as per my understanding it is normal. experts can confirm that @capsat @Xulfiqar. I mostly get my queries answered from these 2 senior guys.

At Brake press rpm drop means vacuum leak or TPS malfunctions. am not sure if your vehicle has an ICAV, please connect scanner and perform diagnosis share the error code.

i have obd scanner with me. there is no error code no engine check light. my RPM is quite stable at idle around 700. Recently i get my electronic throttle body changed and also did idle learning through scanner.

So i went to Toyota Dealership yesterday. Got my car completely tuned up. The RPM is normal. Its around 600 to 650 when the car is warmed up and in idle "d" mode. For my satisfaction, they were kind enough to show me the scan codes being none. Also they showed me 2 brand new ready to be delivered 34km and 27km (zero meter) grande warmed up on the same status with RPM between 550 to 650. So thats a relief.... in Parking or Neutral, the RPM is around 750 to 850 which is normal. If anyone need guidance or help in Karachi at Dealership near Johar, ping me.

700-800 on idle is totally normal. And on D with brake press 500-600 is what my car is doing too. What happened to the vibration you were facing on D with brake press?

That issue was also in the new car. I will share the video here in the group. Passenger side seat can feel the vibration. Also if there is something on the dash, you can visibility see it vibrating

So it's mean this little vibration is new normal these days
