I have a corolla XLI 2011 model when I start the car in the morning RPM is higher than normal, I know the reason for the high RPM in the morning due to the cold engine. However, when I run the car whenever I press the clutch during driving to change the gear RPM goes up to 3k. After changing the gear when clutch release RPM goes normal. When RPM goes up I neutral the car and remove the foot from clutch pedal, acceleration pedal and brake pedal vehicle is running on the road neutrally but RPM is still on 3k, I pressed the brake pedal and car stops then RPM came back on 850. Every time I face this issue when driving the car.
I visited the mechanic for this problem he said that the throttle body needs to be cleaned he cleaned the throttle body, spark plugs, air filter, etc. He calibrates the car with IT device but on test drive, same issue appears again.
I visited the other mechanic and told him the situation, He said that the throttle body is not working properly throttle body with sensor needs to be changed, he changed the complete throttle body with sensor, spark plugs, and air filter he cleaned the air flow sensor also but on test drive issue is still there.
I am very upset regarding the problem I do not understand the problem please help me what to do. When RPM is on 3K engine make huge noise this situation is very annoying.
