Rpm meter in Ma car

hey guyz, finally, ihav installed RPM METER in my mehran. it goes to 7000 rpm and has AQUA lght in it. i hav got only one pic, i bought fer 1000rs frem AUS1, a pakwheels member:

@ronz: its on the right side of the steering, i have reduced the image size as it was sum 3000 pixels dats why it was nt uploading

Can you specify the details about the input connection of RPM meter. Is it connected to the gear box??

i pray to god that you are not revving that engine ot 7000 rpm! those things should never go beyond 4500rpm. they are NOT high revving engines.

RPM looks very decent though.

ysalman: its green wire was installed to battery, and the 2 blak and red wires were installed underneath the steering, one was surely connected to the back lite switch while as the blak one was a ground wire

so where is it getting it's pulse from?

@storm: i didnt exactly saw, the two red and black wires he installedunder the steering and the green one he installed in the battery or sum where near it, the other 2 red and black wires were cut down
