I have a 2007 Cultus VXR. Whenever I cold-start the car, the idle RPM initially drops below the normal operating range (the RPM drops to around 300 RPM) and I often have to briefly press the accelator pedal to bring the idle RPM back to around 1000 (after which it stays constant).
Similary, turning on the AC when the engine is still cold drops the idle RPM down to around 300-400. As soon the as temperature gauge needle reaches the middle, this problem seems to vanish, and the car idles at around 1000 RPM with the AC on.
Which components would likely cause this sort of issue? It's worth mentioning that I had the carburettor serviced a while back as well.
