A Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was torn in half recently when it hit a pole in Moscow, Russia. It’s thought that the driver lost control of the car at high speed rendering the car a complete write off. Miraculously, the only injuries reported were to the driver who suffered concussion. Three passengers reportedly walked away with no injuries! Our source, Zona-Dtp reports that a pedestrian ran into the road, forcing the Ferrari driver to take evasive action. The front half of the car was left attached to the pole with the rear half of the car coming to rest fifty meters down the road!

This is what we call safety ... just observe the compartment. Looks like the dashboard is still on its original place and no one seems to be badly injured after such a serious collision.
I was also thinking that this is what we call safety ... just observe the compartment. Looks like the dashboard is still on its original place and no one seems to be badly injured after such a serious collision.
Infact I was also thinking that this is what we call safety ... just observe the compartment. Looks like the dashboard is still on its original place and no one seems to be badly injured after such a serious collision.
I have heard that at whatever speed it collides with any object; the cockpit remains intact, this is speciality of this car. I have seen a demo of same type few years back.

actually, the engine bay is always supposed to be detached from the passenger cabin in case of a high speed collision. this breaks the momentum and the passenger cabin, having no weight attached to it now, slows down much faster... same concept is used in enzo...
phh ironicallywas also thinking that this is what we call safety ... just observe the compartment. Looks like the dashboard is still on its original place and no one seems to be badly injured after such a serious collision.
