Hi all. This Uaaz jeep is for sale. Its got a Hilux 2.8l diesel engine. The suspension and the transmission come from a hilux too. Left hand Drive. Its got a roll cage and the top is removable.

its not a lada. it is called uaaz pronounced as va'az

@Saqib Bhai Thanks for correcting the name. The owner wasnt much sure about the name and told me that it's a Lada which I doubted as I searched the net and couldnt find it under the name of Lada.

Hello,
Do you know if this is one of the ex-UN vehicles that came in for earthquake relief in 2005? If so, its sale may be illegal...I dont want to sound alarmist, but its good to check. I DO know that the UN donated some to various local NGOs, but I doubt these local organistions were allowed to sell them on in the market. Sale would only be possible after paying import duties to CBR. If you are not sure of its origins, I may be able to help. If the jeep is grey in colour under the yellow paint, watch out...

@Saqib bhai Now it belongs to my father's friend. He's a doctor and has his clinic in F-8.
@Romano. The previous owner told the current owner that he rebuilt the thing. But u never know.

@ Romano bhai! 2005 ka earthquake mein yeah wali jeep aan tu mushkil hai. 1939 (Baluchistan) walay ka chances zaida hain. (Just kidding hope you dont mind)

If I am not wrong this jeep must have come over in early 1980s along with the Afghan refugees.

Don't want to spoil the sellers thread here but any body thinking this Jeep as toughest or realiable as per it's stock options will be mistaken.

The good thing mentioned about this specific Jeep for sale is that it's engine, transmission & suspension been changed which was the most important factors as compare to stock ones.

We had lots of them here during Elections and few lucky surviving ones ended up in earthquick effected areas in Pak.
