Rust issue in new cultus

Is it true that the new Cultus develops rust very quickly ? and it is a known fault?

Depends upon area/useage/how you maintain
I've cultus for 3.5+ years
No rust issues so far
Another owner has same 2017 model, no issues

As for now, alhamdulillah everything is fine
Total fuel avg for 47k kms is 17.2 km/L, by manual calculation, 2.5-3k kms on long, 44k kms approx done in city

For Karachi Local assembled Suzuki get rest marks in 6 - 8 months. To prevent get it under-coated before getting the delivery.

Users have experienced rust issues in cultus both on top/roof sides (minor) and bottom.
You must get good undercoating to prevent it specially if you reside in karachi (the rust and sewage city) .
Undercoating does not last forever so you must get it redone as the need be every few years!
In my opinion the factory paint quality and paint layer thickness is not good.

Others may differ and think of cultus as a diamond. All the power to them and my sincere happiness that you got a good piece from the factory.

Its just a so so car which gets the job done in its (over) price range. I prefer cultus over wagon r. Atleast its got a cabin AC filter!
