Its quite odd that most rotaries could be easily rebuilt for about the same amount of money that was spent on dropping in the 1JZ and the gearbox. And having a good running turbo rotary is "BLISS" you can toy with 1JZs all day on a stretch. And when you stretch a rotaries legs on a highway, you will be in LOVE.
to the poster with temp and dust, its not the dust that will kill it - its the problem of "nawaabipan" that will kill it, a rotary owner is not an average person, its a proper gearhead. more than 50% of mechanical work would be done by the person - the rest big jobs would be partially outsourced to an ustaad.
btw - dont tell me the steering rack has been repositioned lower.. if it has - do not attempt any spirited runs.
