Rx8 clutch cylinder required

hi guyz

just before i was to leave pakistan my 05 rx8 clutch broke down on inquiring with my michanic he asked me to get him the clutch cylinder on reconfirmation he said (is ke 2 set aate hain aik uper ka aur aik neeche ka) now i reely dont know what it was but he said it is a petty thing might cost as mush as 5000. so any way on googling clutch cylinder they turned out to be something else.

please guide me through this so when i am back in khi i will bring the clutch cylinder along wime

firstly you need to confirm which one went bad - you are right about ooper wala and nechay waala - but in real terms they are called master and slave.

There are a few shops in Karachi that refurb master and slave cylinders if the seal sizes are not really odd. You can try them, one is behind plaza market one is in the tariq road car repair market, one is in nazimabad near pak colony.

There is also a little shop in ruby centre next to plaza that sells mercedes benz, bmw and other parts - they also have spares for mazda rx8, ask them too. - But in my experience the problem with these japanese domestic rx8s is production differences. Just to get a new set of rotor apex seals, O rings, teflon rings and general O/H kit - It was required that I provide the chassis no. first along with export certificate of the car, there were apparently 6 different versions of the same part.

acha so he was reffering to the master cylinder i know about it...but since ustaji told me clutch cylinder and i looked up the net and couldnt find any thing i was confused.

master cylinder is a very common product.

how mush do u think it should cost.

so you think this particular product will be available back in pak.
