in this case it isnt economy that matters it is the size and mass. you are probabbly gonna get a heavy toyota engine which will destroy the car's center of balance and ruin the controls. get your existing engine measured and do not get anything more than 10kg heavier

suzuki g13b dohc, because it is around 115hp and it's block is made of light weight aluminum alloy

RX-8 is a sports coupe it's not meant to be eco , it's meant to be a weekend car you can have fun in on weekends.

No engine is better than the Rotary itself to be swapped in a RX-8.
Those with 1JZ-GTE won't last too long and I can assure they are at the workshop atleast once a day.

Pakistanis have absolutely ruined the good reputation of the Mazda Rx-8 , I my self have 3 Rx-8s' and all three are in mint condition with the Original Rotary.

I am starting a project og installing a SC on to the 13B-MSP which will be capable of beating a RX-7 with a Stock 13B-REW.

Are you sure? I've got 3 RX-8s' standing at my house all 3 are in new condition not even a scratch , one of them has only done 4000km.

Yes one is type E 100% stock only done 4000km
other Type S 04 model with some mods
One more type S with rebuilt engine after i lended it to an idiot who abused it alot.

Will make post with pictures shortly with a good photoshoot instead of pictures of dirty cars.

Not a lot of difference in price with B&B exhaust got mine for 2300$ excluding shipping but it also includes headers.
Engine bay look is changed with chrome headers.
