Wa'alaikum Assalam.
While we are stuck in the jam, allow me to jot down a note of gratefulness.
RZ bhai made my life much easier by taking the charge of arranging the logistics (coaster). And it was a job well done. Two nights before the Rutjuga, RZ and Amir bhai came to my place despite the security situation in the city to finalize the logistics. That was really generous of them. He offered to do a bonfire and cook for the 20-strong party then expected at the Rutjuga - alone. But we decided it would be too cruel. Once done, we talked about different matters since this was my first meeting with RZ and Amir bhai. I had such fun in their company that I made them stay for more than three hours! The poor fellows finally got to leave at around 01:30am.
We sure missed HB and lovebikes at the trip, although I'm glad they are both having a good time in their other commitments. We were eagerly anticipating him, and lovebikes himself was enthusiastic until the last day, but like RZ mentioned, he just could not make it. We also expected ahsansz @ PW, but he had to excuse himself due to his professional commitments. Never mind. We'll Insha Allah try our best to do a Rutjuga especially for PW before the year ends.
Thank you RZ bhai and Amir bhai for the great company and preparation.
A special note of thankfulness is due to Ahmed Haider bhai and Irfan Abdus Sattar as well. Ahmed bhai offered to settle any chores that remained to be taken care of well before D-day. Irfan bhai was deeply involved in the planning for the logistics etc. since day 1. He also made arrangements for the rides of participants to be parked at his office.
While we were on the way to Beach Luxury, Mehdi bhai (one of my team mates at KAAS) made a surprising revelation - Chandragup is not the tallest mud volcano! This is not to say that the tallest mud volcano is not in Pakistan. Seeing is believing, you know, and he later showed us proof. Hang on, and RZ will share it to you Insha Allah.
