13:24 hours. A little before Sakrand
While we were looking for a place to stop for lunch and Namaz, I suddenly noticed the temperature gauge at 60%. I took the car to left lane and switched off the engine while car was moving. It is fun to drive a car with engine switched off. I used to do this for fun on cars with manual steering and brakes. Started the engine again after sometime and drove it till the temperature raised to 60%, after which I turned it off again. Repeated this for two or three times when we saw this Frontier Waziristan Hotel and stopped the car there.
The sound ‘shoooooooooo’ coming from the closed bonnet told me that something has happened with radiator :o. Ya Allah Madad(H).
On opening the bonnet with safety measures (most important of all taking kids away from engine bay:)) we found this small pipe from the coolant bottle detached from radiator nozzle. At that time the nozzle was exhaling steam and generating the sound ‘shoooooooooo’ (Thank you Allah Mian for keeping the problem this simple)
We left it as it is to cool down and proceed towards Namaz-e-Zuhr and lunch.
