Many congratulations on your wounderful and safe journey. The thread is not only interesting (due to wounderful pictures) but also very informative one too.
I travelled with my family ( 6 people including two kids of 2.5 and 3.5 years) via road from Karachi-Sadiqabad-Lahore-Islamabad-Muree and back. My ride was Charade 1986 (recon. 1992). The journey was memorable one and am planning another journey in coming summer vacations Insha Allah, the ride will be City 1998 (CNG), I bought it in Aug'10 and already have a trip to Karachi-sukkur during Eid holidays and am sure this car will be lot more comfortable as compared to my old ride, though that ride was wounderful as well by its own standards.
I specially liked the kind of information you have regarding various old cars and your love for those. I am also fond of old cars but have not kept many, so far my rides have been Suzuki FX, Suzuki swfit 1988 (Japan), Dihatsu Charade 1986 (1992) and currently Honda City 1998. Toyota 1986 have always fascinated me I have always been in love with this car, but now since its too old model, I think it would not be cost frienly to keep one so i bought City 98.
your thread not only reminded me of my own wounderful experience but was very informative as well for my future travel. I will be waiting for your next thread on you next journey. I had taken my handycam with me to capture my trip so dont have photos to share but taking inspiration from your thread I am planning to take a good camera with me so that I can capture all the good memories of my travel and will try to share that with PW family.
