the video i posted is M6 drag race n M6 is like 100 pounds lighter than M5 so u can do the math of quarter mile timing....try to race on roll on n see the result

4 wheel drive Sti will be faster ofcourse on a dig, but the M5 will catch it and its bye bye from there on. I think a more suitable comparison will be the Evo .
Sti is a great value. i lov the flat 4 sound.
I think, the M5 owner forgot to push the "///M" button (on steering wheel) ...!
Wrx rocks though, I always loved that car (y) ...!

actually the Sti will be faster until maybe 70-80 then its all over for the Sti. The M5 is just soo much faster at highway speeds. But then these are 2 different cars. i wana hear salman ksa's comments hahaha!
@ Alkazar:I still doubt the results, M5's time in 1/4 mile is 12.5 & even Wrx-Sti can't make it ...!

@buksh: the point is M5 is pretty heavy 1850kg n Sti is 1460 kg....M5 got traction till third gear.....the video was example to see M6 losing to lightweight car n a lot of traction.... the rest u kno who was driving it
@ateekt: u r right...some people have recorded mid 12 sec on quarter mile race.....it all depend on the driver
