that impreza can easily beat the m5 in a quartermile from a standstill. the wr1 impreza is a pretty fast car. i raced it with my evo when it was here , the impreza was ahead for the first 100meters or so and then the evo overtook it but only gave it 1-1 and a half car gap in the quartermile keeping in mind that the wr1 is stock and my evo had a boost controller , intake and exhaust . impressive , thumbsup

Even the R6 rider would need to be pretty darn serious to challenge an M5 or an Impreza. Launching a 4WD is nothing compared to a high revving short wheelbase bike. You need your tacho in the 5 digits at all times to do anything meaningful. And when you get there, it's savage :d!!!

M5's advantage is above 150kmph. 1/4 mile is ricer's stuff.
On a highway or even a normal road with a bit of a stretch the M5 would eat Subaru.

Remember we are taking about an M5 which can keep up and in most cases beat cars like V10 Gallardo, Dodge Viper, etc at high speeds. Lets just not draw conclusions based on a single race in a country where 90% of the people dont even know what "M" mode does on a M5!
